There are three Olympic distance triathlons that take place around the mournes, Newry Triathlon club's Rostrevor Triathlon,
Olympia Triathlon club's Castlewellan Tri and Setanta Triathlon club's Carlingford Triathlon.
Although not part of the Mournes a great sprint distance triathlon in the area is the Crooked Lake Triathlon in Camlough lake.
