Height: 626m
Terrain: Shanlieve sits like a giant on top of Tievedockaragh. It is quite a steep climb from where the photo was taken to the summit of Shanlieve & the area between is extremely boggy. Shanlough also resides inbetween so be careful when attempting this route if it has been raining or it is winter. Finlieve is to the right.

Park at Leitrim Lodge car park on the Sandbank Road. Follow the path as shown on the map until the road gravel track ends. You should now see Shanlieve ahead of you. The stretch of terrain between the track & Shanlieve is extremely boggy if it has been raining but cross this & follow the wall to the top. View here
