Height: 485m
Terrain: Mostly gravel paths or tracks through the forest if approaching from Rostrevor/Kilbroney Park. Nearer the summit is mostly grass & heather.
This photo was taken by Michéal Mc Parland from the Warrenpoint/Rostrevor Road beside General Ross's memorial.
Slieve Martin is to the left of the photo with Slievemeen and Slieveban to the right. Slievefadda is in the background.
Cloghmore (Big Stone)lies at the bottom of Slievemeen & is definitely worth the hike/walk to view.
Start from the Kilbroney Park carpark or follow the mountain road up to the car park at the top of the road. Slieve Martin is directly ahead of you.
Depending on the route you want to take you can pass by The Big Stone/Chlogh Mhór.
